I enjoyed reading this story. (took me 3 nights!) I actually shipped more Cas and Sam - I enjoyed their friendship a lot. What you said about Cas doing everything for Dean, just as Dean did everything for Sam was very IC and canon. I recall I cried during the scene Cas decided to sacrifice himself (yet AGAIN!) for Dean.
