Date: 2010-07-08 08:08 am (UTC)Loved it, absolutely adored the ride I was taken on. The only thing wrong is now I have to find something else to read to fill the void of finishing your epic story.
When Cas was dieing and said, "did… w..in…?" I had flashes back to Spock's death in the wrath of kahn ("ship... safe?) , gah, rip my heart out why don't you.
And I love the constant mention of the succubus mayor and eighty-three packs of Slim Jims, makes a person wonder what the tale behind it is. :D
Named is going in my pile of awesome to re-read over and again.
Who am I kidding? This is totally to stroke your ego and a bid to have you write more.

Date: 2010-07-11 03:07 am (UTC)I have to admit -- I've never seen Wrath of Kahn, but I went to YouTube to find that scene. OH MY HEART.
I'm taking a teensy break for the moment from writing, but I have a timestamp scene that I want to add to the story, as well as a few codas -- mostly dealing with Sariel, Bobby, and Becks in the aftermath. So, more on the way! :-D
Thanks again! <3

Date: 2010-07-13 07:37 pm (UTC)And it's one hell of a big bang. Oh trust me when I say it's 2 in the morning and I'm fucking ecstatic. I'm glad I downloaded it to read offline so I can keep it in my computer, because I'm not sure I would really find the strength to go back and do that after reading it.
There were so many remarks I wanted to make while reading, but just let me sum it up like this: this is one of the greatest fairytale romantic adventure fic ever, and Jensen should read it even just so that he'll get some clue and put the Dean/Cas scenes into canon in his episode. LOL XD
One tiny thing. I really love the way you wrote the Dean/Cas parts. They shine with love! for Cas' sake, and how Dean learns about what Cas how far Cas went for him, it was plain holiness. And the "you were going to kiss me" night was, okay, we know what it was.
Okay, thing is, I can't even begin to find words that may tell you how much I love you and this, so let me just kiss you both. *grins*
Be prepare to glomp me back, kay?
Oh, and I sighed with relief when Dean decided Raguel should be god so he could be Dean Winchester and Dean Winchester only, because I was kind of freaking out with Dean about the god thing at first. So I'm really grateful for that.

Date: 2010-07-15 10:04 pm (UTC)this little section. SO GOOD:

Date: 2010-07-17 06:48 pm (UTC)I wish I had a more coherent and well-thought out comment, but just know that this story made me laugh and cry and everything in-between.
I'll admit that I was a little wary of the story at first with the death of Jesus, but you had some really interesting ideas that made me think about divinity and God in general.
I'm so glad that I spent my Saturday afternoon reading this - thank you :D

Date: 2010-07-18 02:44 pm (UTC)I usually write hugeass fangirly comments on fic I like but you're lucky I've been reading it offline and had no access to internet when I finished it. xDDDDD So um, with my memory not being too fresh, still WOW. Definitely one of the best D/C I ever read. Sweet, tender, humorous, interesting, amazing plot, awesome OCs (loved Sariel and Remiel and fuck yeah Jesus rocks! and YAY Becky and Rose totally slash fangirls heeeeee!) and yeh, awesome Gabe. I love stories with awesome Gabe even if he's not paired with anyone.
Loved the twist about Jesus creating Castiel, I dunno why but I always pictured Cas somewhat younger than most angels, there's something so cute and innocent about him that no other angel has.
The whole thing about Cas saving Dean against orders = totally SPAJGRSAERKG;ALGRK;LKEARG!!!1 And fuck that scene, I must've re-read it a dozen times and not even for the hawt sex, but for all the "You saw something worth saving, you gripped me tight, I love you" that turned me into an incoherent mumbling puddle. So intimate that reading it almost feels like intruding.
A with a zillion fucking + that wouldn't fit in this comment.

Date: 2010-08-15 03:00 am (UTC)I just wanted to let you know how absolutely amazing I think you are.
This is, without a doubt, the best multichaptered Dean/Castiel fic I have ever had the pleasure of
skulkingreading. It's got all the elements of canon, switching from snarky little comments to intense character interactions, with that pinch of something more that makes me come back and read it again, just in case I missed something amazing the first go 'round. This is not even counting how the plot made my brain explode into a helter-skelter frenzy of Why can't this be canon?! Where has this been in my life!?!. I fell into a hard lovefest with your characterization (and all those little passing comments in the first part about how Dean feels insofar as the whole, "Oh hey, look who started the apocalypse cos he went off on a romp with that demon skank, you-have-fucked-up-so-royally-bitch", were amazing because somehow that tends to get overlooked in the face of good ol' angel lovin') and all of the added in angels - especially Raguel, who I wish Kripke would've thrown in there, just for the hell of it.Basically, I love it. There's a lot more arm-flailing "ohfuckyes"s, but that's the gist of it.

Date: 2010-09-12 03:52 pm (UTC)There's too much to really pin-point specific moments, but I think what I liked best was the scale. It was completely epic - and also about individuals doing small things. That's what I like best about the show. And even though this deviated from the show quite a bit, it maintained the same feel. Which is awesome.
I saved the pdf for future reading.

Date: 2011-04-25 06:51 am (UTC)I do have a question. Did Dean and Cas ever make it to Andy's thing at school? That entire scene with the two of them was priceless.
By the way, as I am writing this, I am listening to Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley and it totally works with the story. :)
Re: ...
Date: 2011-05-03 02:09 pm (UTC)I still plan to write codas for this story (one of them being Andy's school thing), but who knows when that'll happen. IT WILL HAPPEN. I just... don't know when. /o\
I've been listening to the Rufus Wainwright version of "Hallelujah" while writing my next big Dean/Castiel project. Such a good song! <3
